The 22nd annual has taken place in Nantes this fall. For NIHA this was the first but certainly not the last participation. On and around the fair NIHA has had lots of contact with the Turkish National agency, Koç Univ, Bilgi Univ, Sabancı Univ, Univ İzmir Economy, Bahcesehir Univ, Eskisehir Anadolu Univ and many other Turkish universities. The trainings were organised by NIHA with the financial support of the MATRA programme of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the framework of the project fifty members of the Turkish government had the opportunity to attend a series of trainings organised by the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht. The final sessions in Turkey of the Early Childhood Development (ECD) course, organised by NIHA, Sardes and ICDI, were held between 22nd and 24th of September 2010 in Ankara. The course will be concluded with a study visit to the Netherlands in November 2010. Building on this year’s experiences, NIHA will again organise this Early Childhood Development course in 2011. As a follow up of a visit of an Armenian academic and a student to Ankara in the summer of 2009, this summer an international  project with participation of Turkish and Armenian students and academics took  place. NIHA and NORM Education Association will organize a ‘Personal Development Seminar Series’ from 19th of October 2010.
