Round Table Meeting on “mobility of elderly people and people with disabilities”

NIHA organized a round table meeting on May 17th entitled: “mobility of elderly people and people with disabilities”. The event aimed to address related questions from a multidisciplinary perspective by involving a variety of parties (among them academics and public organizations).

During the meeting authorities – from Prime Ministry OZIDA, Ministry of Transport and Communication, Gazi University, Bilkent University, METU, Anadolu University, Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, Union of Municipalities- had the opportunity to define the problems and further discuss possible solutions by offering new ideas or addressing pre-existing projects.  At the end of the day, positive feedback and the importance of the issue in itself showed that new projects/events will be on the agenda.
